COSTA BONITA
CONDOMINIUM AND BEACH RESORT
Mazatlan, Mexico

Full Time Ownership

beach view of Costa Bonita

Costa Bonita is a full time ownership condominium complex and beach condo rental resort. If you want all the amenities of a hotel, and your own condo right on the beach, then this may be the place you have been looking for. It certainly fit the bill for us. Ron had always wanted to live on the beach, but we never could afford it. Plus Ron wanted all the features that a hotel offers: a good swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a full workout gym, tennis courts, restaurant, bar, social atmosphere and the ocean right at our door. Costa Bonita has all these features. The condos can be rented so you can come and visit and see if this is your paradise. Check out their web site for more information: www.costabonita.com.mx. If you do come to visit, be sure to tell Perla and Eduardo in the sales office that you saw Costa Bonita on Susy and Ron's web page!

The main jacuzzi by the pool is very cleverly hidden by beautiful shrubbery. Slip in to a wonderful relaxing hot tub and enjoy!

The pool is beautiful, warm and large enough to get exercise. It is the same depth throughout, so if you get tired of swimming, just stand up! There is a special area that children enjoy as well as a shallow area for lounging in.

green moss rocks at beach
These moss covered rocks were exposed during a low tide. We thought it looked like a miniature Grand Canyon.

Fruit vendor on the beach

What Mexican beach is complete without a vendor? Although Costa Bonita is not in the Golden Zone, a few vendors walk along the beaches. They are usually polite and offer not only tourist items, but fresh fruit cups (man above carrying a tray on his head) or cotton candy (on the left).

When you come to Mexico you might want to celebrate a special occasion - a wedding, anniversary, birthday, etc. April 2003 we celebrated my birthday and also our condo "house-warming". We had Carlos in the party office put together a great party. I found the big blue guy at a small shop inside of the Gigante.
